MOSCOW DESIGN MUSEUM

The need for a design museum in Russia’s capital city was obvious to many, though there was no real effort to actually organize one until a group of art specialists, curators, architects and designers came together.
  Moscow Design Museum’s main task is the promotion and development of Russian design, as well as to exhibit the best displays of international design.
  Six exhibitions make up MDM’s annual exhibition schedule – three from domestic sources and three from abroad.
  The museum employed the newest technologies and strategies, which were unusual for Russia: This is why a mobile exhibition hall in a specially fitted coach became a part of MDM.
  The mobile exhibition hall will display multi-media exhibits in different parts of Moscow and in other Russian cities, and will also devote significant attention to educational programs, including ones aimed at children.
